The Black Bear Conservatory is a full-time conservatory dedicated to the preservation of culture and art throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania and the surrounding regions.  Our faculty is comprised of award-winning educators, composers, conductors, and concert artists.  We continuously welcome applications for all positions on our teaching staff.  In general, qualified applicants:

 

    *Possess a Master's/Advanced Degree in the musical arts or a closely-related discipline.  Applicants with a BA/BM may be accepted with 5 or more years of professional experience.

 

    *Display accomplishments in both the performance and teaching arenas.

 

     *Have experience with a wide-array of students, abilities, and exposure.

 

    *Are committed to teaching musical intelligence including concepts of theory, history, and performance.
