The Black Bear Conservatory is nestled in the heart of the Pocono Region in Northeastern Pennsylvania.  The campus is centrally located off the shores of Lake Wallenpaupack in the quaint village of Hawley.  Driving time is only 30 minutes from Narrowsburg and upstate New York, 1 hour/45 minutes from New York City, about about 2 hours from Philadelphia and points South.

 

From Narrowsburg, NY and points North:

Travel down PA Route 652 to the intersection of US Route 6.  As you come to the intersection at the end of 652, make a LEFT onto Route 6 towards Hawley.  Travel approximately 6 miles to downtown Halwey.  As you enter the town, travel nearly .5 miles and turn left on to Church Street and we are located at the Hawley Cultural Arts Center on your left just past Teeter's Furniture Store.

 

From New York City and points North East:

Take the Route 17M to Interstate 84 West towards Port Jervis.  Once you enter the state of Pennsylvania, travel approximately 25 miles to Exit 30 for Blooming Grove.  As you exit, make a Right towards Hawley onto Route 402.  Travel to the end of route 402 (nearly 6 miles) and you will come to the intersection of US Route 6.  Make a Left towards Hawley and travel another 6 miles until you come to downtown Hawley.  Turn right onto Church Street and we are located in Hawley Cultural Arts Center just past Teeter's Furniture Store.
