• Classroom supplies including books, chalkboards, and sound equipment.
• Maintenance of instruments including tuning, regulation, and repairs.
• Musical supplies including metronomes and music stands.
• Subsidies for all programs housed in the classrooms including those fees paid to visiting artists and lectures.

Each sponsor creates new opportunities for the extended community by subsidizing cost required for securing prestigious faulty members as well as securing a space in which the programs may be held.

Your tax-deductible contribution of $2,000 or more will secure the facilities in your name for a duration of two years. A charitable donation of only $5,000 will secure the classroom for life thus creating a permanent outlet for the growth of art in the community for decades to come. In our efforts to establish an exchange of culture and commerce in the region, Black Bear will furnish the following to each sponsor/adopting organization:

• A plaque installed in the classroom displaying the name of the sponsor.
• A plaque donated to the sponsor in recognition of the support for the Adopt-a-Classroom project.
• Press releases and photos will be disseminated throughout the region in celebration of the gift.
• A listing on the "Wall of Donors" in the conservatory lobby.
• A listing at the "benefactor" level of the Black Bear Music Society with a complete listing posted in every program housed at the conservatory throughout the life of the adoption.
• Life-long sponsors will have the benefit of a special reception and/or concert at the conservatory.
